Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Fulfilled the diagnostic criteria for unstable Gartland type II or type III fracture of the supracondylar humerus in Tutorials in Orthopaedics and confirmed the diagnosis by radiographs; (2) Closed reduction percutaneous pinning was performed in the 100-level operating theatre of our hospital; (3) Clear consciousness, stable vital signs, and no preoperative infection; (4) Age 0~14 years old.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Gartland type I fractures, open fractures, pathological fractures; (2) Allergy to alcohol or chlorhexidine; (3) Psychological problems that prevent cooperation with the diagnosis and treatment; (4) Postoperative infection of other organs; (5) All epiphyses of the distal humerus have closed; (6) Previous history of elbow trauma.
