Age
18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ? Male and female patients aged between 18 and 80 years old; ? ASA = Level III; ? Body mass index (BMI)<40 kg/m ²; ? Expected to undergo elective esophageal cancer radical surgery for at least 3 hours.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ? Previous history of lung or abdominal surgery; ? Allergies or contraindications to sevoflurane, propofol, or non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs); ? Severe brain and cardiovascular dysfunction; ? Suspected or diagnosed with immune or neuromuscular diseases; ? Expected extension of mechanical ventilation time after surgery; ? Liver cirrhosis (Child B or C); ? Chronic renal failure with dialysis.
