Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Age over 18 years at the time of enrollment; 2) Signed informed consent; 3) Known to have colorectal polyps of types 0-Is, 0-Isp, 0-Ip, or 0-IIa with a diameter less than 1 cm.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with lesions that were suspected to be cancerous; 2) Patients with familial adenomatous polyposis; 3) Patients with inflammatory bowel disease or a history of inflammatory bowel disease; 4) Patients with lateral spreading tumor (LST), superficial depressed type (IIb), or superficial flat type (IIc) polyps; 5) Patients with severe cardiopulmonary diseases, severe hepatic or renal insufficiency, or severe bleeding tendencies (platelet count less than 50×10^9/L or prothrombin time extended more than 3-6 seconds beyond the upper limit of normal).
