Normal Diet Group (100% Energy):Provide balanced meals that meet the daily total energy expenditure (100% of baseline TEE) throughout the experimental period.
16+8 diet group (100% energy):Provide balanced meals that meet the daily total energy expenditure (100% of baseline TEE) throughout the experimental period, with eating restricted to an 8-hour window
16+8 diet group (75% energy):Provide balanced meals that meet 75% of the baseline total energy expenditure (75% of baseline TEE) throughout the experimental period, with eating restricted to an 8-hour
Alternate-day fasting group (75% energy): Alternate between fasting and eating days (1 day eating + 1 day fasting). On eating days, participants consume approximately 125% of baseline TEE across three

18 Years to 35 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Age between 18 and 35 years. (2) BMI between 18.5 and 24.0. (3) Willing to sign the informed consent form and cooperate with the trial grouping and implementation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Suffering from metabolic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia; (2) Suffering from uncontrollable mental illnesses; (3) Suffering from severe underlying diseases (e.g., renal failure, heart failure, cancer); (4) Currently taking medications that may affect study results (e.g., antihypertensives, antidiabetics, lipid-lowering drugs); (5) Perimenopausal or with irregular menstrual cycles; (6) Pregnant women; (7) Currently smoking; (8) Experiencing weight instability in the past three months (fluctuations of more than 4kg).
