17 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Meets the diagnostic criteria for moderate to severe periodontitis, has not received periodontal-related treatment in the past six months, and plans to undergo supragingival ultrasonic scaling within a specified period. 2. Has at least two functional teeth in each quadrant of the full dentition. 3. Has not taken immunosuppressants or antibiotics in the past six months. 4. Has no severe systemic diseases (such as heart disease or liver/kidney dysfunction) that could affect the study process. 5. Voluntarily participates in the trial, can attend follow-up visits as scheduled, complete the entire study procedure, understand and complete the assessment scales, and agrees to sign a written informed consent form and provide personal medical history.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Individuals with coagulation disorders; 2.Those with immunodeficiency; 3.Women during menstruation, pregnancy, or lactation; 4.Participants with severe oral deformities or unable to undergo periodontal cleaning; 5.Individuals with other infectious diseases; 6.Participants with a strong aversion to acupuncture treatment.
