Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients who were 18 years or older, diagnosed with end-stage kidney disease, and scheduled for donation-after-cardiac-death kidney transplant under general anesthesia
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) multiple kidney transplants, 2) combined multiorgan transplant, 3) use of hydroxyethyl starch only after surgery, 4) undergoing an additional surgical procedure within 7 days following the initial surgery, 5) missing primary outcome.
