Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Symptom onset of retinal detachment less than 4 weeks.2) Adults aged 18 to 80 years of either gender.3) Intraocular tamponade with nonexpansive concentration of gas (C3F8 14%) or silicone oil.4) Intraocular pressure (IOP) of 15-20 mmHg at the end of surgery.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with documented previous ocular diseases, except for uncomplicated cataract and refractive error. 2) Recurrent retinal detachment. 3) Rhegmatogenous retinal detachment caused by macular hole in eyes with high myopia. 4)Giant retinal tear or underwent retinectomy greater than 90 degrees during surgery.
