Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Qualitative Study (1) Direct Caregivers ? Elderly individuals diagnosed with dementia by a physician, with scores on the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) =17 for illiterate elderly, =20 for those with primary education (=6 years of schooling), and =24 for those with middle school education or higher (>6 years of schooling). ? Caregivers who directly care for elderly dementia patients for more than 3 months. ? Able to communicate effectively. ? Informed consent and voluntary participation in interviews. (2) Institutional Managers ? Management personnel working in nursing homes responsible for overseeing elderly care. ? Managers of direct caregivers for elderly dementia patients. ? Able to communicate effectively. ? Informed consent and voluntary participation in interviews. Quantitative Study ? Elderly individuals diagnosed with dementia by a physician, with scores on the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) =17 for illiterate elderly, =20 for those with primary education (=6 years of schooling), and =24 for those with middle school education or higher (>6 years of schooling). ? Caregivers who directly care for elderly dementia patients for more than 3 months. ? Capable of normal reading comprehension. ? Informed consent and voluntary participation in interviews.
