Eligibility

Age

16 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with temporal lobe epilepsy according to the International League Against Epilepsy criteria; 2. Patients with normal brain MRI or with evidence of unilateral hippocampal sclerosis concordant with EEG findings; 3. Primary school or above

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with any other traumatic brain injury, neurological disorder, psychiatric disorder or serious systematic disease; 2. Patients with other structural lesions except hippocampal sclerosis confirmed by MRI examination that may contribute to seizures; 3. Patients can not complete MRI scan;
