Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Participants must have experienced their first-ever episode of cerebral infarction and be in a stable early subacute phase (within 2 weeks of onset), with a Brunnstrom stage II to IV on the affected side. 2. They must have an overall good physical and mental health status, with no prior diagnosis of any brain disorders or other major illnesses. 3. Participants should demonstrate clear consciousness, normal cognitive function, and stable vital signs, with a Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) score of at least 24 points. 4. They should not have been taking any medications specifically for neurological diseases recently. 5. The use of sleep aids must have been discontinued recently. 6. Exclusion of individuals with alcohol dependency or addiction to any drugs. 7. Participants should not have undergone any major surgical procedures recently. 8. They must have good vision, either naturally or corrected with lenses.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Inability to provide written informed consent. 2. Presence of significant visual or auditory impairments, complete aphasia (loss of ability to understand or express speech), or severe mental disorders. 3. A history of cognitive impairment, psychiatric disorders, substance abuse, or alcoholism. 4. Critically ill patients or those with failure of major organ systems. 5. Fixed elbow contracture.
