Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) According to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, Fifth Edition (DSM-5) of the United States, children with autism spectrum disorder are diagnosed; 2) The Childhood Autism Rating Scale (CARS) scores 30 or higher; 3) Mandarin is the main language of communication in families; 4) Can cooperate with testing and training; 5) No medication was taken during the study period.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Severe physical illnesses or sensory/motor impairments, such as hearing or visual impairments, and physical deformities in the hands/arms, may prevent children from using touchscreen devices such as iPads. 2) Traumatic head injury, genetic/neurological disorders such as epilepsy, severe mental disorders such as diagnosis of childhood schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, severe obsessive-compulsive disorder, severe depression or severe anxiety disorder, or other mental disorders that researchers believe may confuse research data/evaluations; 3) Serious problematic behavior; 4) Diagnosed or reported by parents as color blind (clinically confirmed through ICBT); 5) Previously participated in research on digital cognitive interventions for children based on ABA or had previous exposure to this application; 6) One brother/sisters also participated in the current study; 7) Researchers believe that any other medical conditions that may confuse research data/evaluations, such as sudden unexpected illnesses during evaluations or interventions.
