Age
18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (a) the same surgical team, (b) first-time thyroid surgery, (c) postoperative pathological confirmation of PTC, (d) unilateral radical thyroid cancer, (e) PTC diameter <4 cm, and (f) strong cosmetic needs in the neck

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (a) history of neck surgery, (b) history of neck radiation therapy, (c) lateral neck lymph node metastasis, (d) tumour invasion into adjacent organs, and (e) combined distant metastasis
