Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Data on olfactory function were collected from 400 healthy children.The subjects were divided into four groups: Group A, 3-6 years old, n=100;Group B was 6-9 years old, n=100;Group C, aged 9-14, n=100;Group D is 14-18 years old, n=100. All healthy subjects were from our health center. All subjects had no complaints of abnormal smell and taste. All subjects were informed of the research objectives and protocol before conducting olfactory function tests.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of upper respiratory tract infection and sinusitis, rhinitis, asthma or severe allergic disease, head and face trauma, nasal cavity, sinus, and nasopharyngeal surgery, intellectual disability, radiotherapy and chemotherapy in the past 2 weeks.
