Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Diabetes Diagnostic Criteria: ? Chinese Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes (2020 edition) by the Diabetes Society of the Chinese Medical Association; ? 1999 World Health Organization criteria (FBG = 7 mmol/L and/or 2-hour OGTT = 11.1 mmol/L). (2) Conforming to the Chinese Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes (2020 edition) by the Diabetes Society of the Chinese Medical Association. (3) GFR fluctuation range within three months = 30%. (4) Signed informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) History of critical illness within the past 6 months, such as severe cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases or severe infections. (2) Systemic use of antibiotics, corticosteroids, cytokines that stimulate the immune system, methotrexate, and other immunosuppressants within the past 6 months. (3) High-dose use of probiotics within the past 6 months (daily intake > 10^8 cfu). (4) Use of local antibiotics (e.g., mouthwash) within the past 7 days. (5) Presence of untreated significant oral abscesses, oral precancerous lesions, oral cancer, oral fungal infections, or other oral diseases such as missing more than 8 teeth. (6) Suffering from other severe internal diseases such as tumors, immune system diseases, blood system diseases, or severe cardiopulmonary insufficiency (New York Heart Association (NYHA) heart function class = III; pulmonary function GOLD classification = III). (7) Pregnant and lactating women. (8) Mental illness.
