Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1)Meets the Western medical diagnostic criteria for cough after infection;(2)Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome differentiation as wind heat attacking lung syndrome;(3)Cough symptom score (day+night) = 3 points;(4)18 years old = Age = 65 years old;(5)Patient informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1)Previous history of chronic respiratory diseases, such as bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis, etc;(2)Individuals with a history of chronic heart failure or severe complications of other underlying diseases;(3)Patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease, upper airway cough syndrome, eosinophilic bronchitis, and other diseases;(4)Current smokers or those who have not been successful in quitting smoking;(5)Taking ACEI drugs within the past month;(6)Body temperature exceeds 37.3 ?;(7)Peripheral blood leukocyte count>10 × 10^9/L or<4 × 10^9/L;(8)Women breastfeeding, pregnant, and preparing for pregnancy;(9)Psychiatric patients;(10)Those who are unwilling to accept research measures or are unable to cooperate for other reasons.
