Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Hypertension patients who presented to our institution for routine echocardiography.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria encompassed inadequate image quality for myocardial deformation analysis, the presence of any valvular heart disease, intracardiac shunt, atrial fibrillation or other severe arrhythmias.
