Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1: Diagnosis of peri-implantitis, according to the 2017 World Workshop criteria 2: Presence of isolated 3 or 4 wall-contained peri-implant intrabony defects, with a minimum depth of 3 mm 3: Presence of at least 2 mm keratinized mucosa 4: An implant-supported prosthesis with sufficient access to oral hygiene measures and peri-implant probing
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1: Smoking = 10 cigarettes/day 2: No medical contraindications for surgical /reconstructive intervention, such as uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, hypertension, or prescribed medications such as bisphosphonates 3: Pregnancy or breastfeeding at present 4: Systemic antimicrobial or immunosuppressive agent use within the past 3 months 5: Mobility of implant
