Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who histologically confirmed superficial esophagus cancer expected to result in a mucosal defect involving the entire esophageal circumference after ESD ; 2. Signed informed consent;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Lymph node metastases detected by computed tomography; 2. Receiving additional adjuvant treatments, such as chemotherapy; 3. Submucosal invasion exceeding 200 micrometers (>SM1) in pretreatment endoscopic findings; 4. Poorly controlled diabetes mellitus; 5. Ongoing use of corticosteroids; 6. Organ failure; 7. Concurrence of another active cancer; 8. Coagulation disorders; 9. Inability to tolerate intravenous anesthesia.
