Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria comprise necrotizing enterocolitis that meets Stage 2 or higher ("confirmed necrotizing enterocolitis") according to the Bell staging criteria, with informed consent obtained from the guardian.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Food protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome will be excluded. Individuals with fewer than one follow-up examination will also be excluded. Congenital gastrointestinal malformations, such as spontaneous intestinal perforation and congenital hypertrophic pyloric stenosis, will likewise be excluded.
