Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Those who meet the diagnostic criteria for cataract and dry eye: (2) Male, aged over 50 years old, with similar cataract degree, lens nucleus was ?-? grade under slit lamp observation; (3) Patients who can understand different treatment options and volunteer to participate in the study; (4) Long-term follow-up (at least 3 follow-up visits) in the enrolled hospital.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Any eye with eye trauma, eye infection, eye surgery (intraocular, ocular plastic, corneal, refractive surgery, etc.) or contact lens use within three months before admission; (2) Blink disorder caused by other reasons (such as facial paralysis, etc.), facial nerve paralysis, history of lacrimal punctum obstruction or lacrimal punctum embolization, corneal perception decline, congenital absence of tears, absence of lacrimal glands, etc.; (3) Patients with poor general health status (such as androgen deficiency, vitamin A deficiency, Sjogren's syndrome, Steven Johnson syndrome, rosacea, etc.), combined with other important organ dysfunction who cannot tolerate surgery (such as malignant tumor, etc.), mental retardation, etc.; (4) Use of drugs known to affect the ocular surface microenvironment within the past three months (such as isotretinoin, antihistamines, cyclosporine eye solutions, artificial tears, intraocular pressure lowering drugs, etc.); (5) uncontrolled allergy, infection or inflammatory disease of the ocular surface unrelated to dry eye; (6) Systemic oral drugs, such as antiandrogens, hypertension drugs, antihistamines, antidepressants, anticholinergic drugs, and retinoids.
