Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Physical Status I to III; 2. Patients (aged 18-75) undergoing elective VATS under general anaesthesia;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe heart failure or left ventricular ejection fraction 100 IU/L or Child-Pugh Class B; 4. Impaired renal function with preoperative serum creatinine level > 120 µmol/L or eGFR 35 kg/m^2; 8. Chronic opioid use (defined as opioid consumption for 3 months or more) ; 9. Alcohol or drug abuse; 10. Pregnancy or breastfeeding; 11. Inability to comprehend Chinese language;
