40 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Age between 40 and 75 years; (2) Unilateral carotid artery stenosis with symptoms =50% or asymptomatic unilateral carotid artery stenosis =70%; (3) American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) classification II to III; (4) Undergoing carotid endarterectomy (CEA) treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients who take antidepressant and sedative drugs for a long time; (2) Individuals with a history of neurosurgical surgery; (3) Patients with respiratory insufficiency and severe heart valve disease; (4) Individuals with contraindications to the medication used in this study.
