Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria of patients were as follows : ( 1 ) thyroid solid nodules with a volume greater than 14 ml, neat edges and no burrs under ultrasound images ; ( 2 ) Benign lesions were diagnosed by two fine needle aspiration pathology or one coarse needle aspiration pathology ; ( 3 ) Normal serum thyroid hormone level and calcitonin level ; ( 4 ) Obvious neck symptoms or cosmetic problems require human intervention for thyroid nodules.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria for patients are as follows : ( 1 ) MWA contraindications ( such as unilateral recurrent laryngeal nerve injury ) ; ( 2 ) serious heart and lung disease ; ( 3 ) Severe coagulation dysfunction ; ( 4 ) Patients were not willing to accept MWA ; ( 5 ) Incomplete clinical records or follow-up records.
