Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Study 1: 1. Patients meeting the diagnostic criteria for DE 2. 8=HAMD-17=17 3. Ages 18-65 years, no gender limit Study 2: 1. Patients meeting the diagnostic criteria for DE 2. 8=HAMA-14=14 3. Ages 18-65 years, no gender limit
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Study 1: 1. Combined with other eye diseases (e.g.blepharospasm, conjunctival laxity, strabismus, amblyopia, glaucoma, cataract, fundus disease, etc.); 2. With active eye diseases or a history of eye surgery within three months; 3. Diagnosed with depression before DE or have taken antidepressants within 1 month; 4. With organic mental disorders, depression caused by psychoactive substances and non-addictive substances; 5. With non-specific depression caused by stroke, neurological diseases such as Parkinson's disease or other systemic diseases; 6. Received acupuncture treatment within 1 month; 7. Pregnant or breastfeeding females; 8. With serious systemic diseases such as cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, hepatic, renal, and hematopoietic system and psychiatric disorders; 9. With autoimmune diseases such as Sjögren's syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, or ankylosing spondylitis; 10. With damaged, ulcerated, infected, or scarred skin at the selected acupuncture points; 11. Allergic to metal or tape. Study 2: 1. Combined with other eye diseases (e.g.blepharospasm, conjunctival laxity, strabismus, amblyopia, glaucoma, cataract, fundus disease, etc.); 2. With active eye diseases or a history of eye surgery within three months; 3. Diagnosed with anxiety before DE or have taken anxiolytics within 1 month; 4. With organic mental disorders, anxiety caused by psychoactive substances and non-addictive substances; 5. With non-specific anxiety caused by stroke, neurological diseases such as Parkinson's disease or other systemic diseases; 6. Received acupuncture treatment within 1 month; 7. Pregnant or breastfeeding females; 8. With serious systemic diseases such as cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, hepatic, renal, and hematopoietic system and psychiatric disorders; 9.
