18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (i) age =18 years; (ii) diagnosis of type 2 diabetes for at least one year; (iii) elevated depressive symptoms (PHQ-9 =5 points); (iv) elevated anxiety symptoms (GAD-7 =5) or (and) diabetes distress (DDS =2);(v) those who have no communication barriers and are conscious and (vi) those who voluntarily participated in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (i) history of diagnosis of cognitive impairment or psychiatric disorders; (ii) severe diabetic complications; (iii) previous participation in cognitive-behavioral interventions or other psychological interventions; (iv) taking psychotropic medications such as antidepressants and (v) patients with major depression or suicidal ideation.
