Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Using indocyanine green (ICG) fluorescence imaging technology as the gold standard for determining parathyroid blood supply, a prospective cohort study was conducted to test the effectiveness of acupuncture in determining parathyroid blood supply during thyroid surgery. Patients who underwent thyroid surgery in the Wang Peisong medical group voluntarily participated, signed an informed consent form, and were willing to undergo long-term follow-up. For the safety of this study, each patient selected no more than (less than or equal to) 2 parathyroid glands for blood supply assessment based on the surgical resection range (unilateral surgery selected 1/2 of the same side, bilateral surgery selected bilateral inferior parathyroid glands). For the safety of the patient, based on the blood supply assessment, regardless of the method, as long as there is one assessment that scores 0, the parathyroid gland will be given autologous transplantation.
