Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: agree to sign the informed consent for the study; patients who were admitted to the Stomatology Hospital of Southern Medical University between January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2023 and diagnosed with dentition defect in the posterior dental region; has undergone modified split-crest technique or circular cortical-lamina anchoring technique for alveolar ridge augmentation; have at least 6 months post-operative medical records, complete medical records and CBCT measurement data required for indicator measurement. CBCT scanning before and after bone increment has good accuracy and can be adequately evaluate

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The patient underwent bone increment and implant implantation at the same time. According to preoperative CBCT, the horizontal width of 1mm below the alveolar ridge in the patient's missing area was greater than 4mm According to preoperative CBCT, the patient had vertical bone deficiency in the missing area.
