Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age = 18 years old 2. Planned scheduled gastrointestinal surgery 3. ASA Level I-III 4. Voluntary participation in this study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of diabetes or abnormal blood glucose on admission (fasting blood glucose = 7.0 mmol/L or random blood glucose = 11.1 mmol/L) 2. Patients who have already been infected before surgery 3. Patients who have undergone preoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy 4. Patients with preoperative intestinal obstruction 5. Patients who have not obtained complete blood glucose results 6. Patients who have used or are currently using corticosteroids 7. Patients undergoing blood transfusion during hospitalization
