Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Inclusion criteria for amnestic cognitive impairment ? Meet the diagnostic criteria of aMCI; ? Han Chinese, right-handed, aged 55-75 years; ? Self-reported memory impairment and complaints from knowledgeable persons with a duration of illness >3 months; ?24=Mini-mental State Examination (MMSE); ? Clinical Dementia Rating (CDR): 0.5 points; (6) Failure to meet the criteria for dementia in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (Fourth Edition, Revised) (DSM-IV-R). ? The score of Activity of Daily Living Scale (ADL) was < 16; ? Voluntary participation in the trial and signing of informed consent. (2) Inclusion criteria for healthy individuals ? Age 55-75 years old, elementary school education or above; ? Han Chinese, right-handed; ? Physical health, no previous serious physical illness; ? No other psychiatric diagnosis and related family history; ? MMSE =24 points; ? CDR = 0 points; ? No other contraindications to MRI examination such as claustrophobia; ? Voluntarily participate in the trial and sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Exclusion Criteria for Amnestic Cognitive Impairment ? Those who have received acupuncture treatment or other related treatments for cognitive function within the last 1 month; ? Those who are unable to cooperate in completing neuropsychological scale tests, such as severe hearing, aphasia, or visual impairment; ? Those with a past history or MRI evidence of brain injury, including severe trauma, stroke, hydrocephalus, mental retardation, or severe neurologic disease; ? Any serious mental illness (clinical diagnosis of major depression, bipolar or schizophrenia); ? Unstable cardiac, renal, pulmonary, hepatic, or other serious chronic disease; ? Systemic diseases that may induce cognitive impairment (e.g., epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, severe anemia, anthraxemia, HIV, alcohol and drug addiction, syphilis, or thyroid dysfunction); ? Those with contraindications to magnetic resonance examination. (2) Exclusion criteria for healthy people ? Previous history of stroke, brain tumor, Parkinson's disease, encephalitis, epilepsy and traumatic brain injury; ? patients with serious mental illness, alcoholism and drug addiction or other psychotropic substance abuse; ? Those with severe hearing and visual impairment and aphasia resulting in inability to achieve assessment and inability to complete the test; ? Those with a history of severe head trauma or other diseases involving the central nervous system; ? Those with severe cardiac, hepatic, renal insufficiency and other systemic diseases; ? Those with contraindications to magnetic resonance examination or those who, in the opinion of the investigator, are otherwise unsuitable for enrollment.
