Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) The MDD group meets the symptomatology, severity, and course criteria for diagnosing depression in accordance with the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-V) of the American Psychiatric Association Criteria for degree and course of disease, HAMD-17 scale score =7, not yet been treated ; (2) The healthy volunteers did not have any mental diseases, and the score of HAMD-17 scale was <7;(3) Neither group had any other physical diseases, alcohol or drug abuse history; (4) Both parents of all participants have no history of mental illness; (5) Both are Right-handed; (6) No contraindications related to MRI scanning; (7) Voluntarily participate in the project.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) history of alcohol and drug abuse; (2) The depression group had other mental diseases except depression; The healthy control group had any mental diseases. (3) previous history of brain injury or brain surgery; (4) Female subjects in pregnancy or physiological period.
