Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Experimental group: Patients age =18 years and diagnosed with primary aldosteronism who are willing to be enrolled in this study with carotid ultrasound, carotid body activity detection and ambulate blood pressure monitoring as auxiliary examinations; Control group:Patients =18 years of age with essential hypertension, healthy volunteers age=18 years; Patients who can understand the purpose of the study, voluntarily participate and sign informed consent, and are willing to cooperate with clinical follow-up.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1: Renal hypertension, pheochromocytoma, hypercortisolism, arteritis, coarctation of aorta and other secondary hypertension patients 2: Type 1 diabetic 3: Carotid artery stenting or carotid artery dissection 4: Carotid body tumor 5: Hypertensive patients during pregnancy 6: Patients who live at high altitudes for a long time 7: Patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, interstitial lung disease and other serious lung diseases 8: Patients with severe heart failure 9: Any other conditions that the investigators do not consider appropriate to participate in the trial
