Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Meets the diagnostic criteria of traditional Chinese and Western medicine for cerebral infarction; (2) Screening patients with swallowing dysfunction (Wada Drinking Water Test Level III-V) through the Water Test Scale in the Chinese Expert Consensus on Assessment and Treatment of Swallowing Disorders (2017 Edition); (3) Dysphagia symptoms persist for 2 weeks to 3 months after cerebral infarction; (4) Those who can understand and execute simple instructions from treatment personnel, score = 8 on the Simple Intelligence Test Scale, can cooperate, and can sit independently or with the help of others for 30 minutes; (5) Age range from 18 to 80 years old, regardless of gender, the patient has good compliance with the observation and evaluation of the researchers, voluntarily participates, and signs an informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Ischemic stroke occurs more than once; (2) Previous or concurrent other diseases that affect swallowing function, such as myasthenia gravis, head and esophagus tumors, traumatic brain injury, neck tumors, etc; (3) Patients with severe primary diseases or mental illnesses such as liver, kidney, hematopoietic or endocrine systems; (4) Wearing a pacemaker and having metal implants or orthotics in the body; (5) Individuals with local skin damage or allergies to electrode plates.
