Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) The diagnosis of essential hypertension met the 2019 Chinese guidelines for the management of hypertension in the elderly: age 65 years, blood pressure was measured three times without antihypertensive drugs, systolic BP (systolic blood pressure, SBP) 140mmHg and (or) diastolic blood pressure (diastolic blood pressure, DBP) 90mmHg, which can be diagnosed as elderly hypertension. Elderly people who have been clearly diagnosed with hypertension and are receiving antihypertensive medication should also be diagnosed with elderly hypertension, although their blood pressure is <140 / 90mmHg. (2) The patient is 65 years old, and the gender is not limited (3) Complete ambulatory blood pressure monitoring was performed during the evaluation period

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Meeting any of the following criteria will exclude the study plan: (1) All study subjects excluded adrenal space occupying (aldosterone adenoma, aldosterone cancer, pheochromocytoma), Cushing syndrome, renal hypertension, renal vascular hypertension and other secondary hypertension according to previous history, physical examination and laboratory examination (2) Serious heart, brain, kidney, liver and malignant tumors and hematopoietic diseases were excluded (3) Patients with a blood pressure of 220 / 110mmHg and not taking antihypertensive drugs (4) Patients with complicated acute and chronic infectious diseases and autoimmune diseases
