Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients admitted to the First Hospital of Chongqing Medical University who met the diagnostic criteria for acute intracerebral hemorrhage were selected; age>18.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria were ICH patients due to structural lesions (e.g., arteriovenous malformation, ruptured aneurysms, moyamoya diseases), anticoagulant-associated hemorrhage, trauma, tumor, and hemorrhagic transformation from acute infarction. Additionally, patients who underwent surgical hematoma interventions before the follow-up CT scans were also excluded. We also excluded patients with premorbid modified Rankin Scale (mRS) score=2.
