Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients with mild to moderate UC as defined by the 2018 Consensus on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Disease; 2) Patients with retrievable and well-established medical records and relevant tests, examinations, and clinical data; 3) A treatment history align with the recommended treatment protocol suggested in the 2018 Consensus on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Disease and supports a diagnosis of effective or ineffective 5-ASA therapy; 4) Age between 18 and 75 years (including 18 and 75 years of age).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with severe UC;Patients without UC or Patients with severe UC as defined by the 2018 Consensus on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Disease; 2) Patients without retrievable well-established medical records and relevant tests, examinations, and clinical data; 3) A treatment history does not align with the recommended treatment protocol suggested in the 2018 Consensus on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Disease or does not support the diagnosis of effective or ineffective treatment with 5-ASA 4) Age less than 18 years or greater than 75 years; 5) Pregnant and lactating patients.
