50 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for asymptomatic healthy people: 1) Han Chinese people aged 50-70 years old; 2) no waist and leg pain in the past three months; 3) no neurological symptoms such as intermittent claudication. Inclusion criteria for lumbar degenerative disease: 1) People aged 50-70 years old; 2) Symptoms last for >6 months and are ineffective after regular conservative treatment; 3) Imaging shows lumbar spinal stenosis or lumbar disc herniation combined with nerve compression; 4) People with lumbar degenerative disease undergo lumbar fusion surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for the asymptomatic healthy population group: 1) Full-length spine radiograph showing sagittal or coronal plane imbalance; 2) Upper motor neuron disease. Exclusion criteria for lumbar degenerative diseases: 1) Sagittal or coronal imbalance on full-length spine radiograph; 2) Upper motor neuron disease; 3) Vascular claudication.
