Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Acute episodes of lateral and peripheral knee pain or pain duration = 2 months and the most intense pain when the knee is flexed at 30°, pain during exercise, and VAS score = 2 at the time of pain. 2.Subjects were in the period of chronic recurrent episodes. 3. The Noble's test was positive. 4.The ITB was obviously tense on palpation, and in severe cases, nodules could be found 5.Those who voluntarily participated in the present study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Participated in a long-term lower limb exercise intervention experiment within 3 months. 2. Lower limb fracture, patellar dislocation or subluxation, patellar tendonitis and other diseases that seriously affect the function of the knee joint. 3. Acute episode of lower limb sports injuries. 4. Combined history of surgery on both lower limbs. 5. Contraindications to manipulative therapy such as malignant tumors, pregnancy, and local skin infections, ulcers, and so on.
