18 Years to 60 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Female obese patients who underwent laparoscopic gynecological surgery under general anesthesia on a scheduled basis and had an American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) I-II classification with a BMI of = 28kg/m2 were included in this study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria include refusal to participate in the study, severe anemia, long-term smoking history, emergency surgery, severe cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease, history of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome, chronic lung disease requiring oxygen therapy, presence of tracheostomy, and any nasal/facial defects that may hinder the use of nasal masks.
