Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) According to Benic&Hammerl classification of horizontal alveolar ridge bone defects, patients with Class 4 and Class 5 alveolar defect, that is, patients with large horizontal bone defects or accompanied by vertical bone defects, need staged massive bone grafting before implant implantation; 2) Adults over the age of 18; 3) There is no uncontrolled systemic disease that is not suitable for implant surgery; 4) Good compliance, willing to follow the return visit plan; 5) There are no systemic diseases or local lesions that can affect osteogenesis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Systemic or local acute inflammation; 2) Uncontrolled diabetic patients (fasting blood glucose =8.88mmol/L); 3) Patients who have received radiotherapy or chemotherapy within the last 5 years; 4) Smokers (more than 15 cigarettes/day), alcoholics; 5) Patients who cannot tolerate implant surgery; 6) Long-term use of immunosuppressants or bisphosphonates.
