Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (i) patients with clinically confirmed colorectal cancer; (ii) spouses taking primary care; (iii) couples without cognitive impairment, history of psychiatric disorders, and able to communicate normally; (iv) those who were informed about their condition and volunteered to participate in the study; and (v) at least one of the spouses was able to use a telephone or mobile phone;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (i) either spouse is unaware of the disease; (ii) the caregiver has a serious physical or mental illness; (iii) either spouse is unwilling to communicate with or refuses to participate in the program.
