Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: 18-75 years old; patients with liver cirrhosis diagnosed based on clinical manifestations, laboratory and imaging examinations; patients who have experienced EGVB in the past and plan to undergo elective TIPS surgery for secondary prevention of EGVB.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Previous TIPS, surgical shunt, or other abdominal surgery; previous recurrent episodes of overt hepatic encephalopathy (more than or equal to 2 times), hepatic myelopathy, or other neuropsychiatric diseases; portal vein cavernous degeneration; liver function Child-Pugh score greater than 13 score or MELD score greater than 30 points; insufficiency of major organs such as heart, lung, kidney, brain, etc.; liver cancer and other malignant tumors other than Milan criteria; pregnant and lactating women.
