Catheter-related complications

Interventions

Control group:The catheter tip is positioned in the thoracic axillary vein
Intervention Group 1:The tip of the catheter is placed in the initial segment of the subclavian vein
Intervention Group 2:The catheter tip is located in the middle of the subclavian vein
Intervention Group 3:The catheter tip is located at the end of the subclavian vein

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients receiving medium to long-term intravenous infusion 2) aged =18 years old 3) possessing a clear mind, basic communication, and understanding ability 4) Voluntarily participating in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients receiving chemotherapy medication 2) Complications related to the catheter occurred before enrollment 3) A medical history of surgical procedures, trauma, thrombosis and previous radiotherapy in the area from the catheter insertion site to the subclavian vein was present
