12 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Greater than 12 years of age and less than or equal to 65 years of age 2. Have a depression score greater than or equal to 17 on a screening scale 3. Possess adequate audio-visual ability and Chinese comprehension skills 4. Currently in the first-episode stage (not receiving any medication within six months), never exposed to electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) or repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Bipolar disorder, severe mental illness (e.g., schizophrenia), personality disorders, cognitive brain dysfunction 2. Substance abuse disorder 3. High risk of suicide 4. Serious physical illness 5. Currently pregnant or breastfeeding
