18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy People:? right-handed; ?aged 18-60 years; ?no history of lumbar disc herniation; ? no history of pain caused by any disease and no treatment related to pain for at least 1 month before enrollment; ? Beck Depression Inventory 2nd Edition (BDI-II) score = 13 points; ? Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) score<45 points; ? The subject agrees to participate in this study and signs an informed consent form; Patients with lumbar disc herniation: ? right-handed; ?aged 18-60 years; ?previous CT or MRI examinations revealed herniated discs at L4-l5 and/or L5-S1; ?presented mainly as nerve root pain, and the imaging is consistent with nerve localization; ? the neuropathic pain assessment scale (DN4) = 4score ; ?the patients who had not taken analgesics and neurotrophic drugs in the past one month and had not received systematic treatment; ? the subjects volunteered to participate in the clinical trial and signed the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ?the nucleus pulposus protruding obviously oppressed the spinal cord or cauda equina, resulting in progressive nerve functional defect, ?the patients with spondylolysis or moderate or severe spondylolisthesis, ?complicated with other major diseases of lumbar spine, such as tumor, tuberculosis, severe osteoporosis, etc. ?Acute injury and pain of lumbar vertebrae and nerve injury of lower limbs caused by trauma and operation; ?Any other condition (diabetes, neurological disorder) that causes neuropathy in the lower extremities; ?Patients with cardiovascular, lung, kidney, hematopoietic system and other major diseases; ?patients with psychosis; ?pregnant or lactating women; ?patients with contraindication of fMRI.
