Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients scheduled for elective cervical spine surgery under general anesthesia 2. Age >= 18 years 3. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Physical Status Classification of I to III

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant women 2. Cervical spine immobilization 3. Masses in the oropharynx 4. Individuals judged by the investigator to be unable to communicate effectively 5. Refusal to sign the informed consent form
