Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) 18 years=age=65 years (2) proposed craniotomy hematoma removal for acute brain injury (traumatic brain injury/subarachnoid hemorrhage/cerebral hemorrhage) (3) hemoglobin concentrations below 90 g/L (4) signed informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) life-threatening patients in need of emergency treatment (2) patients with severe heart disease (3) pregnant or lactating women (4) patients who have already received a red blood cell infusion before surgery (5) patients who refuse transfusion (6) patients with Glasgow outcome scale=3, patients with dilated and fixed pupils (7) patients with clinically diagnosed brain death
