Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age = 18 years old, regardless of gender; 2. Diagnosed by MRI, HR-MRI, CTA, and DSA as a patient with untreated and unruptured vertebrobasilar dolichoectasia in the past; (MRA/CTA/DSA shows that the basilar artery is greater than 1.5 times the diameter of the normal segment of the basilar artery or the maximum diameter of the lumen is greater than 4.5mm; at the same time, the length of the basilar artery shown in MRA/CTA/DSA is greater than 29.5mm or the distance from the midline of the basilar artery shown in MRI/HR-MRI is greater than 10mm); 3. The patient or their family members sign an informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Previously experienced vertebrobasilar dolichoectasia rupture; 2. Previous intervention or surgical treatment for vertebrobasilar dolichoectasia; 3. Other cerebrovascular diseases that seriously affect the prognosis of patients, including cerebral arteriovenous malformations, dural arteriovenous fistulas, moyamoya disease, cerebral vascular stenosis/occlusion, etc; 4. Merge with other malignant diseases, with an expected lifespan of less than 1 year; 5. The researcher determined that there were other situations that were not suitable for enrollment or refused to participate in this study.
