Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age restriction: Children aged between 6 and 12 years old, a common age range for the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD. 2.Diagnostic criteria: Diagnosed with ADHD according to the standards of the DSM-5 (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition). 3.Severity of symptoms: Moderate to severe ADHD symptoms, as determined by standardized scales, ADHD rating scales. 4.Treatment history: Have not received sandplay therapy in at least six months prior to the beginning of the study. 5.Informed consent: The child's legal guardian is willing and able to provide written informed consent, and the child agrees to participate in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Other major mental illnesses: Suffering from serious mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, etc. 2.Intellectual Disabilities: Diagnosed with intellectual disabilities or a comprehensive IQ lower than 70. 3.Serious medical conditions: Presence of significant medical conditions that may affect the effectiveness of treatment or participation in treatment, such as epilepsy, cerebral palsy, etc. 4.Drug treatment: Currently receiving other drug treatments that may affect ADHD symptoms, or have changed the dosage of ADHD-related medication within one month before the start of the study. 5.Communication disorders: Presence of serious communication disorders, such as severe speech impairments, that might hinder the implementation of treatment. 6.Treatment history: If the child has previously participated in similar sandplay therapy studies, they should be excluded to avoid the influence of repeated treatment.
