18 Years to 85 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) 18 years old = Age = 85 years old; 2) Emergency ICU patients who meet one or more criteria for systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS) [body temperature>38.3 ? or90 beats/min, respiratory rate (RR)>20 beats/min]. If it eventually develops into sepsis, it will be assigned to the sepsis group, otherwise it will be assigned to the non sepsis group.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Age85 years old; 2) Pregnancy period; 3) Severe immune deficiency; 4) The diagnosis has been confirmed in an external hospital for more than 48 hours; 5) Patients who do not sign informed consent forms
