Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for the quantitative part of Study 2 and Study 4: (1) Old age (the definition of old age depends on the Delphi consensus); (2) X-ray confirmed hip fractures, including femoral neck, intertrochanteric (intertrochanteric) and subtrochanteric (subtrochanteric) fractures; (3) The hip fracture occurred within the last 21 days; (4) Subjects who are willing to participate in the registration database and sign informed consent. Inclusion criteria for the qualitative part of study 2: (1) One director (or director) responsible for the management of each hospital; (2) One or two persons in each hospital responsible for data collection and entry; (3) One or two personnel responsible for database management. Inclusion criteria for the study 3: The study included all stakeholders involved in the elderly hip fracture surveillance system in the Beijing area, including: The Medical Administration Department of Beijing Municipal Health and Health Commission, the president or vice president of the participating hospital, the director or deputy director of the orthopedics department of the participating hospital, the coordinator in charge of the registered database of the participating hospital, and the representative of the patients or their families.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for the quantitative part of Study 2 and Study 4: Pathological fracture due to tumor metastasis. Exclusion criteria for the qualitative part of study 2: None. Exclusion criteria for the study 3: None.
